UNLV reaches 20 wins in fourth-straight season

Runnin' Rebels among leaders in West for victories since 2006-07 campaign

With its 31-point win over Colorado State on Saturday, 70-39, UNLV moved to 20-7 overall on the season. It marks the fourth-straight season the Runnin' Rebels have won 20 or more games.

Prior to last year, UNLV had not had three-consecutive 20-win seasons since the 1990-93 seasons. Now, the Rebels have four consecutive for the first time since 1989-93.

Saturday's win was also the program's 98th win since the beginning of the 2006-07 season, putting UNLV near the top of all programs in the West for wins during that span (through Monday). Over the past four seasons, UCLA has notched 103 wins, BYU has 102 and Gonzaga is tied with UNLV at 98.

Playing its conference games in the Western Athletic Conference, Utah State has captured 99 wins while St. Mary's (playing in the West Coast Conference with Gonzaga) has won 92.

During that span, only UCLA (of the West's win leaders) has more wins in the NCAA Tournament than UNLV's three. Gonzaga has two NCAA Tournament victories during that span.
